How it works
Watches with receipts
Realwatch Marketplace sits directly on top of the Realwatch authentication platform. That means every listing can be checked against the same dial fingerprints, movement signatures, and ledger anchors that watchmakers, retailers, and factories already use.
1
Enroll the watch
A dealer or owner captures the dial and movement through the Realwatch app. The unit gets a globally unique ID, a vector fingerprint, and a ledger anchor.
2
List on the Marketplace
As the seller, paste the unit ID into your listing. The provenance panel lights up with enrollment and verification history pulled live from the platform.
3
Buy with confidence
Before you pay, inspect the audit ledger yourself. After you pay, the shipment goes through an authentication hold before it reaches you.
What makes us different from Chrono24
- Native authentication. Provenance isn’t a PDF — it’s a live query against the Realwatch ledger, keypoint-for-keypoint.
- Every action auditable. Enrollments, verifications, and ownership transfers are appended to a hash-chained ledger. You can re-verify any claim yourself.
- Authentication hold by default. Funds are held in escrow until the watch passes a post-shipment re-verification against its dial and movement fingerprints.
